Replication enables data from one MySQL database server (the master) to be replicated to one or more MySQL database servers (the slaves).

The target uses for replication in MySQL include:
- Scale-out solutions
- Data security
- Analytics
- Long-distance data distribution
- Upgrade software/hardware with minimal downtime

First we will look into the architecture of replication inside MySQL, after this we will look at use cases for replication and also investigate our new series of tools to manage huge replication typologies.
